This is the children’s memorial at Yad Vashem, the Israeli Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem. 1.5 million children were killed in the Shoah. Their names are recited by a recording in the museum. It takes three days.

World Communion Sunday, Oct. 7, tomorrow, 8:30 and 11:00 am: Latin Music with CANTA Rhythm and Brass, and the beginning of Rev. Ritsch’s sermon series on the Book of Job: “Miles Lerman, a former partisan and sole survivor of a large Jewish family,” stepped forward, banged his fist on  the central table, “and declared that he was calling God to Din Torah—summoning God to court!” — Communion represents one of the ways Christians respond to the problem of suffering.
