Refresh. Reconnect. Reaffirm.
St. Stephen All-Church Retreat at Mo Ranch
Labor Day Weekend – August 30 – September 1, 2014
The ad hoc Communications and Outreach committee and church staff are planning a memorable event in the beautiful Hill Country for members, inquirers, visitors and friends of St Stephen. In a setting that has special meaning for generations of St Stephen folk, we will have an opportunity to refresh body, mind and spirit, reconnect with one another, and reaffirm our commitment to the vision and mission of our church.
Mo Ranch offers a wide range of opportunities for both action and reflection. Set on 500 acres alongside the Guadalupe River, the ranch offers swimming, canoeing and hiking, as well as scenic spots for contemplation of the beauty of nature and appreciation for the gifts of life and relationships. Whether you prefer to sit beside—or wade into—the river and gentle rapids, Mo offers it.
There are several housing opportunities, from camping to ‘group’ to private hotel accommodations. Transportation will be provided, although some may prefer to go ‘on their own’ and take a side excursion to Fredricksburg or other Hill Country sites.
More information and opportunities to sign-up will be provided in the coming weeks. For now, simply save the date—and begin anticipating an unforgettable weekend and opportunity to refresh, reconnect and reaffirm.
