Luncheon and Panel Presentation

PLEASE RSVP FOR LUNCHEON

Adults of all ages are invited to a luncheon and panel presentation sponsored by the Board of Trustees on Sunday, June 9. All of us will confront end-of-life issues, not always in predictable ways or times.  Questions of treatment  and advocacy can be scary, confusing, painful, frustrating and hard to talk about, even with our health providers.  Putting preferences in place provides clarity not only for ourselves but for our loved ones.  Engaging in the process of preparation allows opportunity to have meaningful conversations around life transitions.  Educating ourselves about options and  planning tools can be helpful.

Moderated by Carol Stalcup,  our panel of Lars Berg, Jim Elder and Diana Logan offers expertise  from the legal, medical and hospice aspects of end-of-life care. The panel will focus particularly on medical power of attorney, advance directives, patient advocacy and how to have these conversations with family.  Resources offered include websites, take-home materials gathered by panelists and Q&A . Please join us in the conversation.

Please RSVP to the church office if attending the luncheon. Call Judi at 817-927-8411 or email to adm@ststephen-pcusa.com.
