Churchwide Book Exchange

We are excited to announce a new event for our community: a Churchwide Book Exchange. This is a fun and easy way to share your favorite books with others and discover new ones.

Here’s how it works:

• Nov. 1 – 12:

• Bring one or more books that you have read and enjoyed to the church. They can be any genre, topic, or language, as long as they are appropriate for all ages and respectful of our faith.

• If you would like to, label each book with your name and a brief note about why you liked it or what you learned from it.

• Place your books in the designated boxes in the narthex or in front of the office.

• Do not take any books yet (that’s a separate event). 

Nov. 15: Day School Preview 

• On Nov. 15, Day School parents can choose books from 2 to 4 p.m.

Nov. 16: Wine and Cheese Preview 

• On Nov. 16, we will host a wine and cheese preview from 4 to 7 p.m.

• A $10 donation is recommended.

Nov. 17: Book Exchange Give and Take

• On Nov. 17  come browse and choose books from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We hope this event will foster a spirit of generosity, curiosity, and fellowship among us. We also hope it will enrich our minds and souls with new insights and perspectives. We call it “The Book of Life Swap” because we believe that every book we read can teach us something about God’s plan for us and our world.
